Hummingbird/Vexilar compatability

Has anyone heard of any issues with interference between Vexilar and Hummingbird Ice series? I talked to a guy today and he said that you will have to fish quite a bit away from each other? Any one have experience with this? I currently have a Vexilar FL-20 and my son wants a flasher and I can purchase a Ice-55 for a very reasonable price.

Like Swiveldigger said, the two play very well with eachother. But I have noticed with the Bird, is that you will get a little interference if you are fishing around multiple (3-4 or more) Vex's.

The birds IR doesn't eliminate it, just changes the speed of the interference (how fast it twirls around the graph).

But it is minimal compared to what the vex users are dealing with if there are that many close to eachother.

I fished in a house with my bird and two guys had vex's and one had a bird. No problem for me. I've also been in my portable with a bird right next to me and other times with a vex right next to me and haven't had a problem. I did notice a random mark circling the graph every few minutes when I was next to a bird. Funny think was the other bird had the mark circling in the opposite direction. Still able to mark both lures and fish without a problem.
