Tow/Haul button doesn't work

So I tried to use my tow/haul switch on 2002 Silverado last week, but it didn't kick in. It worked last summer when I towed my boat. What It could be? Any thought about what I need to look into?

The problem is often caused by the small wires that go to the button getting broken from repetitive flexing from shifting and tilting the wheel. You'll have to pull the shroud on the column to get at them for repair or replacing. It can also be the button itself but its less common. Sometimes the broken wires will blow a fuse if they are rubbed bare but it will usually happen again if you replace the fuse.
