eel pout

is anyone fishing these on the nemaji and are they getting any or is it to late. i remember as a younger kid we would fish them during christmas break from school. any inf would be great. thanks

The eel pout population in the Nemadji has seem to decline alot over the last ten years . It has been atleast 5 years since I've caught one out of there .

If you want to target pout, try up by boyscout landing on the st. Louis or up by walleye alley, thats where I would try . Try using a glow Northland Buckshot Rattle Spoon with just the head of a fathead minnow on it and chances are you also may get into some walleyes.

Not sure, but judging by the shoreline I say it is pretty close to watersteet, or maybe just around the corner from the camp??? not sure how old the vid is, but I imagine it cant be that old...

That vid was in 10-11 winter season and yes it is at water street .
