Home inspector in the Longville / Hackensack area?

Can anyone recommend a good home inspector in the Longville / Hackensack area? I'm looking to purchase a property on Blackwater lake, and would like to find a local inspector. I've tried searching online, but all that i can come up with is inspectors that "service" the area, but aren't based there. I'm looking to save a few bucks by not having to pay extra for travel time. Thanks in advance.

I used one in Grand Rapids area once. I was not impressed with him at all! I used to live right near Mule lake store. I would think you would be way better off using a contractor in the area (especially if you plan on having some work done on it if you buy it) to come look it over.

Call Dennis Carin out of Laporte. Really solid guy and has done a number of them for me. He works independently with a national company. I will do a littel research and see if I can find his number for you.
