I recently discarded my springbobber "obsession" due to a lack of control for fine movement jigging.

The spring (amazingly) acted like a shock absorber (doh) when I wanted real fine movements of my jig to entice a bite from those lookers.

So I went to my panfish rods and the Thorne Bros sweethearts more so. They worked good for most bites.

Then I received my new Thorne Bros Tripwire Rod.

The Tripwire does not have the coils (where line always seems to find a hiding slot before) and for some reason it gives me more control.

You know me, I had to test the titanium wire. All I can say is WOW, the titanium tripwire kept its form straight, even after being bent almost 180 degrees. It pops right back with "NO BENDS" in it.

I won't give up my panfish sweethearts (sitefisher too)..but the TB Tripwire is a very welcome addition to my panfish arsenal..

THANK YOU MATT JOHNSON!!! smile
