ALEX EYES
worst trip ever. Forcast was for an ok day thursday and beautilful fri and sat.Thursday about 35 miles out of devils we hit blizzard like conditions. we were on the lake by 1:00, winds steady at 30-35mph, some fresh snow and a high temp of 20. made for a pretty rough day fishing in portables. oh yeah 4 of us fishing and not one fish caught for the day.Friday forcast for mostly sunny high in upper 30's maybe low 40's. Actual weather, cloudy, still only 18 at 2:00 in the afternoon, windy as hell and no hint of the sun untill it finally poked out about 4:30.Fish- 4 small eyes and a 5 lb pike.Saturday- beautiful day 51 and full sun by 1:00. Way to big of a weather change.Fish for the day- 4 small eyes 1 ok perch and 2 pike 3.5 and 4 lb.Plenty of fish left for you spearfoot. Lake really got sloppy in one day of nice weather. we hit a bad few days of weather fronts. no one we talked to caught much when we were there. LPCrowRiverFisherman
The weather was horrible Thursday and Friday, but unlike your group we did very well each day, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. In our group we got 13 eyes, 11 pike, and 47 perch on Thursday all at one spot. Friday was 34 eyes, 5 pike, and a couple dozen perch. Saturday we had about 25 eyes, 2 pike, and around 18 perch. Not bad for an unguided trip and crappy weather the first couple days.
