Bath tub refinishing kits?

I've never used the DIY kits, but I have had it done professionally to all 4 tubs in my 4 rental properties. I refinished one of the tubs just a few months ago for the second time; the first refinishing lasted about 14 years. I paid about $450, including the extra charge for the non-slip finish on the bottom.

One thing to remember with any bathtub refinishing is to make sure you don't use a bathmat. If you leave one on for an extended period of time then try to remove it, it may pull the finish up with it. My BIL learned that lesson with a couple of his rental properties.
