Bryce
We recieved a nice fillet of Alaskan halibut for dog sitting. Have some nice recipes for it but none of them mention what to do with the skin. I know we prefer our salmon cooked skin on if it comes that way but how about halibut. Only have one fillet so don't get to experiment.

eyeguy 54
we take skinoff halibut, then flour, dip in egg and crushed zestas. then fry in butter or sunflowere oil. 3 inch by 3 inch pieces or so and if it's a thick piece I slice them in half. bbfenatic
Leave skin on, cook skin down, take some honey and put a little Dijon mustard into it along with a bunch of chopped pecans and pour over the top for a glaze, bake for about 30 min and you will love that halibut! fivebucks
I always take the skin off the halibut and ling but I don't think it matters if you are doing a baking recipe.
