Blew up my Mr Buddy

I toasted my Mr. Buddy today, I screwed in a new tank and it spit out some propane, then my hubby distracted me by calling me and telling me to come in the house and check his computer. I went back to light the Mr Buddy to heat up the wheelhouse so I could work on it and boom. It flashed a big ball of fire and then it caught on fire, threw it out the door and kicked it down the driveway away from the vehicles. Scared the beejeezers out of me. When it cooled down I checked it and I didn't have the tank screwed all the way in. Be careful out there!

yikes! i tried burning my house down last night by leaving a towel on top of the stove, then turned on the wrong burner...turns out towels are pretty flamable!

we had this happen with a sun flower heater a few years back. we were set up in a series of insta(SP) tents put together. the heater flared up, the guy next to it jumped up and tried to claw his way thru the tent wall, was pretty funny. one of the other guys just reached over and turned it off. needless to say the one that jumped up left for the day, do not think he found it funny.
