Corey Heiser
Some of you have heard, some may not. Ranger has just introduced a new tiller. It will be the 175 T. This was announced at the NPAA conference this past weekend. Many of you have been looking for a smaller Ranger tiller. It's 17 1/2 feet long, has an 86inch beam and rated for a 75. If you want more information, please send me a message. The boat is supposed to be displayed for the first time at the Northwest Sports Show in March.Corey Heiser

Corey Heiser
The boat should come in priced between 26 and 29,000. You can get it with a 60 or 75 horsepower motor.

JohnMickish
The boat dosen't exactly exist right now. At the NPAA meeting last weekend, the pics of the boat taken on Friday and shown to us on Sunday still had it in two pieces. The first boat produced will be at the Northwest sports show in March. This will also be the first showing of the boat to the public.

hanson
I saw the pics, John saw the pics, Corey saw the pics... Guess there was one place to be to see the pics. There's a video on the net of George Liddle talking about the specifics of the boat, thats almost as good as pics.

JohnMickish
No, it's not. I guess you should have been at the NPAA conference then.
LMITOUT
Why? For pictures of molds and deck layouts? That's old news already. I know there aren't any pics of the boat and it was just a joke. Take it easy.
BrandonN
the model is 175? I thought the walleye series started with a 6... like 619,620,621 so shouldn't it be called 617T? That's what it used to be called anyway. I think the 100 series rangers are bass boats
LMITOUT
Appears that it will be placed in their Angler series of boats.
JohnMickish
Correct, it is not a Fisherman, it is an Angler, hence starting with a 1 and not a 6.

JohnMickish
It is the only size the 175 comes in, but they do make a 618 (18') and a 620 (20') tiller as well.
gregg52
ya i know but they area different stlye specially the back-end of them
JohnMickish
Yes they are, 2 very different boat. For now it's just the 17' tiller that is in this catagory. I have not heard if they plan to add any boats to the linup or not. I'm guessing not since they already have the other two tillers.
LMITOUT
I have to say that I'm a bit disappointed in this boat and was expecting something a little more. From the responses I've been reading/hearing it doesn't sound like I'm alone in that regard and I really think that Ranger missed on this one. It appears I'll stick with my 618T for a while longer until something better comes along in the 17' size.
Boxcar Wllie
Its a pretty sweet rig and they had 27k with a 70 Yamaha on it.[note from admin: please read forum policy before posting again. thanks]
polarsusd81
Just watched the video. There are certainly some hits and misses with this boat. Big hit, 9' rod locker. Big miss, not much storage space. The front deck looks naked without another locker up there. No space to throw life vests when you trailer down the road. I know a lot of guys strap em to the seat, but I would rather put em away. Lack of adequate storage is gonna hurt sales.
