Coleman Lantern Case?

I have a coleman lantern single burner that sits on top of a 1lb propane tank, but the problem is I don't have any way to store it now that the box got wet tonight. Does anyone make a case for these lanterns?

I ran into the same problem and just kept it in the box last year. This year I went and bought a hard, crushproof, waterproof box just larger than the lantern (without the propane bottle) at GM and used some pliable rubber and shoe-goo to make a nice tight fit. Now it can take a beating and works great and I even put it away hot.

I use a square cat litter bucket with lots of scrap carpet wrapped around my lantern. Been 15 years and have not ever had the glass nor mantels break. I also put it in when it is still hot and not had a problem.

well if you can getaway with it tuperware like the green one that holds a loaf of bread works for the tank and light but you may have a problem if the mrs. finds out

I have a case for mine. It's a padded soft case that zips open. I've had it for years and can't remember where I got it.

I had looked everywhere and could not find one. The thing I like about the one I have now is that it is virtually indestructible and snaps shut tight.
