Minnetonka muskies

Anyone out fishing for muskies?
Looking for a report.

I was out there last night and a couple of boats were throwing wood at Spirit Islans (Brown's Bay). I didn't see them catch anything.

I have been having great trips to Tonka this season; when I can get a parking spot, and fish without getting run over, and I am able to make a cast and not get fouled up in all of the floating weeds - that hane been chopped up by the "boaters".

I have had multiple days with multiple fish in the boat. Usually able to raise 5 or 6 in a day. Most of the "famous spots" are holding fish, but they are getting pounded and not showing as easy as they used to.

I try to find my own "little areas" that I can fish without too much other traffic. I have found them every where and on both weedy and rocky structure.

Good Luck, and be careful out there -- Fishermen are just "speed bumps" on this lake.

Traffic has been bad. Finding your corner or bay is key. Keep posting, I have a hard time quiting,the lake is great in the fall.

I was out last weekend and did alright. I caught a bunch of northerns and one muskie. It was small. I rose one muskie that was probably 35+ pounds. Otherwise, I mainly caught northerns.

went out this morning and caught a bunch of northerns again. I caught one muskie that weighed 8lbs. Had one follow. I was only out for about 3hrs. Not to bad! I plan on going out on Tue, Wed, and Thur. I will post how I did.
