Looking to have a custom ice rod built

Boar

Chad u got a wb site? I found an ice rod at a garage sal a few years back, bought it an went home with out thinking about it much, slaped cardinal on it an has ben the best freaking walleye ice rod ive ever held in my hands an ive tried pretty much all the major brands to some extent. its 36.5 inches long from but to eye, thre eyelits which start at a distance of 11.5 inches from the top of the cork, funny thing is the first eye is not the big one that is commonly used but a smaller medium one, I thought this might hinder some preformance but reallized Im not gona cast this either. No Name or brand on it just some gold strands woven up in a spiral effect from cork to about 4 iches. till the blank tappers. Its really unique with good back bone an great sensitivty. I want tis duplicated cause its by far the best walleye rod ive ever come across. Would like my tag on it is really about it, wood handle would be nice but is that more or less sensitive than cork? Nothing special just duplication mostly. Boar

DH Custom rods might be able to help you out. I had a noodle rod and a light action perch rod built there and love both rods.Dustin is very accommodating and says he will build anything you want.
