Lindy Darter vs Salmo Chubby Darter

I've heard that the Chubby has more of a wobble, but does not swim as far as the Lindy when jigged. Is this consistent with your findings? I own a few of the Lindys, and I'm wondering if it's worth the money to try out some Chubbys. Which of the two have you found to be more effective?

Both have worked for me, but I like a jigging rap 1st and foremost. Very good action..

Maybe there should be a chubby/lindy shootout to go along with the electronics shootout? I have both, caught fish on both. Like the chubby better because of the wobble. I dont like wide swimming lures because I think it leads to more fish missing the bait.

I guess Northland has their "Rippin Shad" also, but I haven't heard much about it.

the shad is also a sweet Lrr, and I have found success with it as well. Fished a couple weekends ago, and my fishing buddy had the shad on, while I was using the rap, and he out fished me 4 to 1. Thatll happen..

At least you guys caught enough fish to establish a 4:1 ratio! My luck has been dry this winter.

Last week fishing was slow so I decided to try both chubby darter and the lindy darter out. I think the action was so much better on the chubby darter then the lindy darter. The wobble on the way down was great where as I thought the lindy dropped more straight down. When jigging the two of them chubby had more action to it. But the nice thing about the lindy is the rattles.

I've had better success with it that with either the Lindy or Salmo darters. Very nice lure, IMO.
