ice spikes

have read reviews that the new ice spikes from yaktrax are breaking chains, and was wondering if anyone has had the same results with micro spikes? Just trying to figure out where to spend my money.

Just bought ICEtreckkers brand from gander mountain and they worked good. The price is high $41. I have a different pair that works great but they only have spikes on the ball of your foot and I noticed that I seem to keep my weight on my heals so that is why I bought a new pair with heal spikes.

I bought a set of Kahtoolas before the ice season started and I'm very impressed with them. They were a bit spendy at $59.99 but worth every penny this year.

about the same price as the yaktrax extreme and both certainly cheaper than a nasty fall. wish i could hold them both up side by side

i got yaktrax a week ago, have had em on ice twice, i noticed yesterday couple of the rubber stretch bands already broke, is this normal or ok? should i b returning them for another pair?

Google Artic Spurs.

I was sick of loosing one of the cleats and found this at Gander a couple years ago. They aren't the most comfortable, but they won't come off. So far so good with these and going on 2 years.

brother has "up north" branded spikes he loves them,ve they have for spikes up on the front on the boot and two out back he can literally run on glare ice.

I bought some at a small bait shop in town I think there "snoshoes" ice cleats wish I had gone with a different kind mine arent the greatest.
