Stuck Choke or your float / needle isn't working correctly.

Sounds like a carb cleaning is needed.

I had the same thing happen when I started my 550 up last year but my issue was that I flooded it out and one cylinder washed out with gas and I had low compression for a while. After I switched plugs and ran it for a bit it cleared it's self and ran find. I think Mike is right on the stuck float on that one side! Do you have a compression checker? Check that if it doesn't clear it's self.
