The units replacement is the 62s, which is a $400 unit. The 60scx was a very popular GPS which was the standard in the hiking/geocaching world. It's a good reliable GPS. I don't know anything about it's ability to use LM maps, but I would think it would. You can check it out on the Garmin HSOforum.

I would offer $100 just because you'll have to shell out cash for the maps either on the Garmin site or at a store that still has them. I know Cabelas still has the LM cards for Garmin.

The Garmin site was selling the LM maps for $50 for the CD version which you upload to your GPS.

I've got the 60CSx, it's a great GPS. Bought it brand new for $200 a year and a half ago, $150 sounds a little on the high side considering most of the newer GPS's will do satellite imagery but the 60CSx does not.

It will accept Garmin Lakemaster mapping products, either the CD or MicroSD Chip.

The 60CSx was just discontinued a few months ago, it had been in production since about 2004 and was a well respected GPS device.

I've got this unit and I really like it. I bought it online about a year and a half ago without the lakemaster chip for $200 and then paid another $100 for the chip. I didn't want a touch screen so I could use it with gloves on while cruising across the lake on my 4 wheeler and have found that it's very easy to use all of the features even with gloves on. I'd buy this again without any regrets.
