TV question

Just got a Toshiba 3D/Smart tv, anyone have one and know how to make the screen stay in theater and not revert back to 4.3???

Are you using cable/dish? That's where I choose which format to send to the TV.

Cable, tv has 4-5 screen options but other than watching a movie on Netflix it won't stay on fullscreen....gotta be a simple setting I'm missing...

Can you choose a format on your cable box/remote and run it that way instead of changing it through the TV settings/remote?

Our TVs we have always set them with the remote. Is there some place where it asks to set as default?

I don't have a cable box, haven't for about 20 years lol I have full, theater wide 1,2,3 and 4.3 for choices but noplace to choose default either in the menue or on remote
