New to the area, ran a small road line for a few weeks. Almost 100% pockets on drowners. Caught nearly everything in the first three weeks. Coons got real slow afer Nov 20, and picked up a couple mink in Dec.

Total was

Coon 22

Mink 10

Rats 4

Skunk 1

Stolen traps 0

Best of all no possums. By my records I caught 23 coon, but only had 22 in the freezer. Had one monster boar that wouldn't go down the drowner that a kind deer hunter blew the head off of during the 3B season, couldn't salvage it, but picked up a roadkill with no damage so it kind of evened out.

That was real nice of the guy to waste the animal for you. Too bad people can't leave things that don't belong to them alone. That's the only problem with trapping, hard to hide your catch sometimes. That's why I pull all mine when other people are more apt to be out in my area. Haven't had any issues yet, knock on wood.

Great pics. Congrats on your season.
