Grubs in perch from 3rd river flowage?

When I filleted my perch I found small yellow grubs or something in the meat of the perch. They looked like small grains of rice. Anyone else notice them in their perch or know what they are?

I only saw 2 perch the whole weekend up there,however I have seen it many times and just pick them out with the tip of my fillet knife.
