Clam thermal house

Anyone ever speared out of a fully insulated clam thermal shack? i have one but its not black on the inside like the unisulated ones. Im not spearing tons but will it work on occasion? Hub style one Thanks

You could try it and find out.

As a rule, the darker the better for spearing. I have a clam thermal and an eskimo hub house. The Eskimo is mucher darker.

I have the clam Nanook thermal. I do a lot of sight fishing out of it and have never had problems with fish coming in. I do, however, put a blanket on the top since the pinholes in the quilting make it a bit tougher to see.

I have a X2 and am new to spearing. I ended up taking plastic landscaping material and lined the roof with it between the poles and the roof. I ended up making slits where the velcro attaches to the poles so it will fold right up. It was pitch black in there. I will also have some ductape with me incase of any tears.
