Lake Thompson Ice fishing

I go to school at SDSU in Brookings and was thinking about fishing lake Thompson this winter for perch and walleyes. Does anyone have and tips or suggestions for me as far as what area I should start in or certain techniques i should use? Any held would be greatly appreciated.

Hey chuckb09...Im also a student there and just found a decent bite on another lake. Maybe after break we can get together and hit the ice somewhere.

The bite has been hot on just about every area lake since this spring. It has been absolutely rediculous.
