Stone legacy Or hycreek bag

I have a rod bag, it is a DeNeveu Creek Tackle Tote by HT enterprises that I could probably part ways with.

At the Ice show I found this and I really like it. I am storing everything in it from all my tackle, ice skimmer, GPS and of course rods.

Thats a pretty cool setup ripp who makes it? I dont recall seeing it there at the show. With the amount of people there it was sometimes tough to see everything. and how much was it?

Rod box is nice, but if you are trying to travel light and keep the bulk down, it is a very big package imo.

What I like about the Stone Legacy is that I can strap it on my back when on a snowmobile/wheeler holds 6 rods and all my lures. Don't have to worry about it bouncing around in or out of the sled. Not as bullet proof as a hard case, but I like who light and compact it is for hauling my rods.

I just called HyCreek. HyCreek bought out Stone Legacy. The last couple years they have been sold out, now it makes sense. On the phone, they said they have a waiting list, they have plenty of interest and have placed a bunch of orders, but a typhoon knocked out their overseas producer. Sounds like they need a little help. They admit there is plenty of demand, they just can't seem to find a stable producer.

I got a feeling these things would fly off the shelf.....

I saw these online, I have an issue with the bulk, In my scout I like to keep everything inside when fishing but the auger, and this, like my otter case, wont fit inside with me. they look bulletproof tho!

I agree to the bulk, it is heavy.

I was caught up in between that while making that decision, but I figured for the 2-3 times I try to go extremely light I can just bring what I need.

The majority of the time I either have my wheeler or my truck and then it becomes a non-issue.

It was posted here earlier who and how much, so I need not do that. Thanks

This box is about as indestructable as it gets, that was the bigger reason for me.

No broken rod tips, damge to the GPS, broken tackle boxes, lines all messed up in a bag or pail which is about as frustrating as I want my day to start.

I was surfing the other day and saw a bag just like the Stone Legacy bag. The picture looked exactly like the bag I have except it was red and black. I have tried to track my path back to the site that had them listed but was unsuccessful. I checked out Hycreek as mentioned here and their bag looks just like the Stone Legacy with the same colors. Could there be another maker of these bags in red and black? Or was it likely the Hycreek bag in a different color. The site I was on (a store site) didn't say anything about being sold out either. In fact the bag was a highlighted item.Wish I could remember where it was.

My Legacy bags are blue and black. They are from a few years back.

One is all blue with a black front and the other just the opposite.

I believe they called them Stone Legacy Revolution bags.

The later one I purchased, I had to order direct from the new company and they shipped it direct.

Using cut off golf tubes or rod slicks, they protect the rods very well. The reason for the slicks or tubes was if I left lures on the rods so they did not get caught as at times they did.

Many small boxes of tackle in the bag also.

For early ice they are very nice as one can use the shoulder straps to carry them on the ice.

They store very well in my portable tub without damage. I have towed my portable many times with alot of gear in the tub with no issues.

I want that beast! It's $125 for it though?

I was thinking the same thing. However all my ice rods are Thorne Bros and once I put a good reel on it I am looking abt between 80-130 bucks on that set up. So basically this product cost as much as 1 or 2 of my set ups. All the other products I have used over the years I have had problem with the tips being broke of my deadsticks my favorite rod of the bunch. So really might not be to bad of a deal. However after looking them up shipping about 30 a piece. Anyone know where they are located maybe pickup can be an option for me.

    • It’s done automatically.  You might need an actual person to clear that log in stuff up.   Trash your laptop history if you haven’t tried that already.
    • 😂 yea pretty amazing how b o o b i e s gets flagged, but they can't respond or tell me why I  can't get logged in here on my laptop but I can on my cellular  😪
    • I grilled some brats yesterday, maybe next weekend will the next round...
    • You got word censored cuz you said        B o o b ies….. haha.   Yeah, no… grilling is on hiatus for a bit.
    • Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!
    • we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
    • I haven’t done any leaf springs for a long time and I can’t completely see the connections in your pics BUT I I’d be rounding up: PB Blaster, torch, 3 lb hammer, chisel, cut off tool, breaker bar, Jack stands or blocks.   This kind of stuff usually isn’t the easiest.   I would think you would be able to get at what you need by keeping the house up with Jack stands and getting the pressure off that suspension, then attack the hardware.  But again, I don’t feel like I can see everything going on there.
    • reviving an old thread due to running into the same issue with the same year of house. not expecting anything from yetti and I already have replacement parts ordered and on the way.   I am looking for some input or feedback on how to replace the leaf springs themselves.    If I jack the house up and remove the tire, is it possible to pivot the axel assembly low enough to get to the other end of the leaf spring and remove that one bolt?   Or do I have to remove the entire pivot arm to get to it? Then I also have to factor in brake wire as well then. What a mess   My house is currently an hour away from my home at a relatives, going to go back up and look it over again and try to figure out a game plan.           Above pic is with house lowered on ice, the other end of that leaf is what I need to get to.   above pic is side that middle bolt broke and bottom 2 leafs fell out here is other side that didnt break but you can see bottom half of leaf already did but atleast bolt is still in there here is hub assembly in my garage with house lowered and tires off when I put new tires on it a couple months ago. hopefully I can raise house high enough that it can drop down far enough and not snap brake cable there so I can get to that other end of the leaf spring.
