I got a vexlair for my kid for xmas. So went to the vexlair web site and called them up and got a reburished fl-12 with a triducer. They were very polite. I placed the order on Monday and had it on my doorstep with in 24 hrs. She also had 2 hats for the kid and myself. I just wanted to send a hats off to them.

i got the whole set with shipping 410.The unit looks brand new.This is my second set I bought from them.

Yup, great service from Vexliar. I bought a referb'd FL20 a few years ago at their shop in Minneapolis - they told me to help myself to any complimentary hat off the racks.

Also one of the buckles on an early Vex bibs, I brought it in and they told me to help myself to a new set, no reciept or questions asked

Dont doubt the brand or service. But that price is pretty close to retail for a refurbished model. At spending $400+ why not get a higher model Vex or even a Bird or Marcum? Less worries when fishing all together on interference issues.
