got all the siding and the corners on today. door is built just needs to be hung. mount the heater, run eye hooks for decoy lines, some more screws in the siding, and maybe paint the floor tommorow.

looking for some suggestions. i have 4" wide skis made out of flat aluminum. some one suggested i make like a carbide on a snowmobile ski for these so it tracks straighter. i will be pulling it with the hitch off of my otter portable when i pull it with the 4 wheeler. i dont want it to swing back and forth like the otter sled does on glair ice because with the otter the hitch just hits the tire and straightens back out. this house will do the exact same thing.

or am i going over board here. i think i am.

i would want to make them out of stainless steel and hard serface weld a bead on the bar. i dont have any stainless rod and honestly i have drained enough funds into this thing already. maybe if its a problem i will make some but for now maybe just leave it what are your thoughts guys?

That sled I pull my portable out with has down hill skis. it tends to get a little wild back there when cornering and in slick parking olts that are uneven.

At some point i'm going to build some skis and mount some carbides on them to keep it from sliding around.
