have you been out on your local lake yet? I was wondering about ice thickness and clarity. Thinking next week trying it out.

Hey, I was out earlier this week and it was locked up with about 1-2 inchs. I am going out this pm to check it and Ill report back to ya.

2-3 inches is what I measured out there today. looks like cooler weather next 2 days, should be go able by this weekend with portables.

I was on Grand by St. Cloud this afternoon. A little cloudy and no pike but the ice was close to 6".

Plenty thick!
