Headlights/tail lights dimming

Have a 92 Indy light for my daughter and sometimes the tail lights dime and headlights and sometimes they are fine.. mostly dime though. When I rev the motor up they get brighter but still not to full capabilities. Would that be a ground issues and can I run it a wire from motor to frame to cure it?

check my post just below yours I had the same question it's a voltage regulater. Check out the skimatics on a HSOforum and then find out where it's located on your sled. Check ground or loose wires first but more likely you'll have to replace it.

Good Luck,

mr

Did you end up replacing yours, and did that fix your problem?

Bareback,

nope not yet. My local dealer couldn't test it but I did do an ohm's (sp) test and it came in around 73.4 not sure if that means anything.

Hope to order one this week thanks for all your help and tip to Cannon.

Regards,

mr
