kapp are you running them with the one lbs bottles or on a bulk tank. the common thing to check would be is there gas at the pilot light(can you smell gas if you hold the knob down but don't click it to light the pilot). it could be a blocked line. are you seeing a spark when you try to light it. may need to put a new igniter in. I have the not lighting problem each time I reconnect my heater to a bulk tank. it takes a little bit of time to bleed the air from the line. if you igniter is not working and you are smelling gas try to light the pilot with a match.

I have two big buddies and one little buddy, they are great heaters when they light and stay on. I think that is a common problem, getting the heater to light. Other people that i have talked to have the same problem. If you are getting a spark before you replace the thermocoupler try holding down the primer button for ten seconds at a time, if you have not already tried that.

Is the pilot lighting and staying lite?

If you use a hose and 20'lb tank you could be getting the oil that leeches from the hose or crud that over time built up in the tank.

This stuff is thick and nasty.

It will plug up the small lines in the buddy. Haven't looked at the YouTube link but taking it apart and cleaning isn't a hard to do.

Putting it all back together and getting the case to snap back together is the worst part.

I agree with some of the other posts that a plugged line is the most probable cause. I store mine in a couple of plastic bags (with no holes!) when not in use over the summer because if a spider of some other tiny beastie crawls into the line, it can plug the orifice which can cause the problem you describe.
