My Yetti Build

Recommended Posts

I bought a hail damaged Yetti in August and I am finally getting around to finishing it. It has been slow going for me, because September and October were filled with other commitments.

Decided to add extra insulation and extra 1x2 firring strips to stabilize the thinner T&G pine

I have had to change my layout plan several times because of things I hadn't thought of, like placing the furnace below one of the windows, but when I crank it up and down the wheels would hit the vent pipe. Thanks to all the wonderful people on here who have pointed things out to me I think it will end up looking and functioning very well. Still working on an unusaual layout for the V section.

As of thursday I have the back wall and the whole sidewall done

What are you thinking for the V section. A lot of people put a little cooking-bar area there. But, others have put in a little port-a-potty closet with vent fan in that area which works well for some of your guests that don't get out fishing very much and don't like to do their biz outside like Um, others can! wink
