winchester sx3 fiber site

I would like to put a fiber optic bead on my winchester sx3. Any recomendations on what bead and where to get it?? Is it something I can do myself???

I installed fiber optic sights myself on my Marlin lever, but I've never replaced a shotgun bead. Williams has technical support, and you could purchase the bead directly from them, so I would suggest getting in touch with them.

I have replaced the beads on all my guns. I like the HiViz flame,this is one of the only the low profile, fiber optic sights that screws into the barrel. The ones that glue on or are magnetic are pretty much junk in my opinion. I used to by the HiViz spark sights, and had them on all my guns, but the sight was large and the ends kept breaking off. The are about half the price of the flame sights, but the flames are well worth the extra money.

I usually use a small pliers or vice grip for removing the old bead. Lock on and gently turn it out, the bead will probably be scratched when you get done, but I throw them away anyway. Use thread locker when you put the new sight in.
