Help Needed

Last year on LOW my auger came off the power head and is sitting at the bottom of North Bridges reef...Most box stores do not sell the auger portion, but the whole unit. Does any one know where I could get just the auger portion new or used? Jiffy has them, but are around 150 clams....Thanks in advance....Dave

Try DRock in New Brighton, I know they have used Strikemaster Augers. You might get lucky on a Jiffy there.

Sorry about your auger. I have an extra Strikemaster auger, but don't believe it would interchange with your Jiffy.

I bought a replacement 8" jiffy auger section at Home of Economy in Grand Forks, ND. a few years ago. Unadvertised in house sale, cost me 99.99 plus tax. It was between Christmas & New Years

You have to look at the popular for sale site on the web. The one that starts with the guys name. There is a brand new 10" auger bit.

I second Broman's idea on the used auger. I currently am rebuilding two older Jiffy's for a friend who bought them at garage sales last summer, paid $20 and $50 for them (not running). Both have perfectly useable drills on them, so the deals are out there.

Ps. The Jiffy Tecumseh/Power Products motor is probably the most rugged and easy to tune motor I have ever worked with.

I rescued an 8" bit from my fishing buddy's dump. I gave it to the neighbor who has a 10" but fishes mostly pan fish. I'll talk to him and see if he'll part with one of the bits. I'm pretty sure he will. Price I got it for is $0. That's my/our asking price and final offer. I'll send you a PM.

P.S. I presume your Jiffy turns counter-clockwise, right?
