Tom7227
20 years ago a friend tried it. One of the biggest issues was the birds pecking on each other and making a mess, killing each other. Then there was the weasel or whatever that got in and killed off a bunch. We want to work the dogs when the birds seemed old enough and they could fly about 50 feet before they tuckered out. Lots of screwing around for extremely little return and one season was enough.
harvey lee
I use to hatch and raise thousands of birds annually. The pecking is easily solved. The weasel issue can also be solved. One of the biggest issues with controlling pecking is too many birds in too small of an area.To the OP if you want a few questions answered, please shoot me an e-mail as I do not check this forum regulary.[email protected]
