Recommend an ice fishing outfitter?

My son turns 11 this weekend, and I am thinking about getting him a 2-3 day trip up north for some "real" ice fishing. (not that we don't have a great time on metro lakes all winter long!) So: Criteria: kid/family friendly, good fishing and great people. We have a shelter, gear, etc, so could go it alone, but I think if we are going to make the drive to Rainy or LOTW, or ? that we'll want some professional advice and maybe a shed.

If you have had a great experience ice fishing with the family, I like to hear your recommendation.

I would recommend going to LOTW. The quality of fishing just can’t be beat. I go to Arnesen’s and highly recommend them, but there are many other quality resorts. You will need to decide if you want to get a sleeper house or stay in one of the cabins if you don’t want to go on your own. I get a sleeper house with my kids 9 & 11 and have a great time every year. Just make sure you bring some electronics (laptop, movies, Nintendo DS, etc…) to keep them busy at night or when things are slow.
