The accuweather extended forecast doesnt look the best but it always changes for the better second week into Nov.

I hear that can be dangerous to do, maybe you need another person along for saftey reasons.

I go alone alot, some people just don;t like to fish in the boat when it;s cold, windy and raining.... not sure why.... I have friends that put their boats away once they pull the docks at the ramps, me I'll break ice to get out there.... Sunday there was 1 other truck in the parking lot when I launched, so peacefull and quiet this time of year....The quiet time between the rat race of the summer vacationers and the flocks of ice fishermen....
