INTERCEPTION

I just had to post this here. You have to love Vern Lundquist yelling "INTERCEPTION" on a complete pass thrown by LSU. Between Vern yelling "Interception" and Gary Danielson consistantly saying "You have to remember..." it was enough to drive me crazy.

Thanks.... was busy today and forgot about the game. Just tuned in and looks like i did not miss that much. Wow, a 6-3 barn burner almost at the end of the 3rd!

Wow, I hope I can sleep tonight after watching "the game of the century". For as hyped up as that game was, what a snooze fest. I'm glad I didn't watch the whole thing. I suppose it will be kind of interesting to see how far Alabama falls in the rankings though.

What did you think you were going to get with the 2 best defenses in college football?? That game went just as everyone thought it would. I found it refreshing to watch some great defense for a change.

Well, I suppose I could quote every sports reporter or football analyst that I've read saying that was one of the most boring games ever. But that obviously wouldn't do any good around here. Seems like every time I voice an opinion someone jumps down my throat. I suppose I'll just stick to the "Oh wow nice fish!" posts.

And i would say the same thing to those people to stang. Did people really think they would see a 34-31 game with those 2 defenses on the field? We all knew it was going to be a meatgrinder of a game with not many points.

Vegas had the total over under for the game between 41 and 44. Thats a lot more than 15 points.

I certainly was expecting more than 15 points and no TDs. Both teams were playing not to make the big mistake, I think that ended up limiting the point total.

That shocks me, i never looked. Talking at work we all agreed neither team would score more than 14 points with those 2 defenses.

That's why they televised the oklahoma state-kansas state game at the same time. All the same drama, minus the defense.
