Easywater

My softener needs replacing, the salt free Easywater "sounds good", does anyone have any experience with this system?. I live in Andover, and have relatively hard water.

Thanks

Todd

I did a little searching on salt free water and didn't get my suspicions that this is a scam allayed. They might sort of work, but I am not convinced.

Is this a local guy installing it, so if it doesn't work you can track him down? Or is this some internet mail order type deal or somebody working out of their garage?

I dont have any experience with those types of softeners either. A lot of that stuff just sounds like snake oil to me.

Are you on well water in Andover? If you are I would have a complete water test done. There is lots of hard water, iron and even tannins in the area. Over 20ppm hardness is not uncommon up there. Once you have a complete test done then you can check that against softeners performance ratings.

If you want we can get the water tested for free for you. my office is on hwy 65 just north of cub foods or google water softener ham lake. We typically come up right on top.

Its funny in that area that one well can have very good water and very close by the next is dealing with some pretty tough conditions. We get every well sample properly tested before suggesting any solutions.

Thanks for the input Del, I am planning on replacing my conditioner, just looking at all the options. It's one of those things, it sounds good, but logically it doesn't make sense.

Thanks Again.

Todd

That is why I searched. It sounded like snake oil to me too.
