Albert pujols - Game 3

I figured this thread needed to be started.

I got off of work at 9:40 or so.. stopped in the break room, Pujols is up at the plate. Wham, HR #1.

Stop by the gf's parents' place on the way back home to drop off some things we borrowed for lawn care. Begin heading home. Turn on the radio. Two minutes later "It's going, gooing, GOOOONE!" HR #2.

Make it home to watch the rest of the game. 9th inning comes around, and I begin to get excited about the possibility of Pujols becoming the 3rd person ever to pull off a 3 HR WS game. After a few swings I think he may have lost his focus. Then I was proven wrong. WHACK!! I jumped up and started cheering. HR #3

I'm super happy for the Pujols, the Cardinals, and Major League Baseball. Today was a good day for the sport. I'm just glad that my work shift didn't get in the way of me witnessing baseball history.
