Fall Tour 2011

Recommended Posts

for me it would be a gametime decision. If it is overcast and crappy or windy at all then I would fish all the community rocks on the main lake and try to find a window when the fish decide to show up. If it is bluebird and calm then I would troll Walker Bay around the humps and breaks with the biggest cranks you have. A sucker in the back corner of Kabekona would be interesting..

Nowhere in Walker had suckers last year. Gander in Baxter will have them and Longville Bait will have them. Tabers and Bluewater in Bemidji will also have them but you'll want to call ahead and when they say big, ask them how big..

Good Luck!!

Yesterday they would follow anything you throw in front of them in NW Wisconsin. The fish seemed to be cooperating, the fishermen in my boat just didn't do so hot (lost one, missed a few strikes, couldn't convert on 10 follows). Did get a 35.5" pike though.
