Ticks Part II

was out grouse hunting this past weekend and it was discouraging to find over 30 deer ticks on saturday on the dog, and who knows how many burrowed in. Today there were not as many, probably around 10, but even with the frontline, I've heard of many instances that dogs pick up lyme regardless, so now I'm wondering if anyone ever uses a spray for dogs that lasts for a few hours even, just to repel the dang things?
