Blue wing teal migration?

We saw an incredible amount of BWT this morning in south central mn. Did anyone else notice the same thing? It seemed quite strange considering the south wind...

Yeah, we had a lot of teal here(St. Michael area) also. Lots of flocks with anywhere from 6 to 20 birds in a flock. Very fat birds so I figured they were some northern bluewings. Until this weekend I probably seen less than 15 BW teal since the opener.

Saturday morning I saw a lot of teal and one flock darn near took my hat off they were so close.

Yes, we hunted the Austin Albert lea area and seen lots of wingers. Had one flock of around 50 come in and we dropped 7 out of it. quite a few more flocks of around 10-25 birds aswell.

We saw several hundred if not closer to a thousand of them. The darn things would come by at a million miles an hour about 10 yards away...a skeet choke would have been nice today! Very fun but harder than heck to hit em.

Have not seen one since the first weekend. Did see 2 flocks of cackling geese though. First sign of any sort of migration for me.

Teal numbers have steadily declined this week where I've been scouting/hunting in SE SD. Saw lots of greenwings flying with mallards yesterday morning though.

seen more teal yesterday than I have all season, was a great morning in the blind with them buzzers keeping things interresting to say the least, I also seen some migrating ducks up high, I took a metal note on how many less woodies were also around the area, seen tons on sat morning and just a few flocks yesterday. cant waite for the wind change at weeks end

expect a couple more pushes been hunting in the bemidji area seeing thousands ive never seen so many but it has declined a bit since the last two days

There were lots of blue wingers and a few green wingers in our NE NoDak bag, and many more in the sloughs, last weekend. Tons of them there.
