I haven't yet, but maybe. This one even has an old baitcaster on it. But the seat is kinda messed up and not even sure if I am going to fix it as it wouldn't really match the rest of it. This was my Grandmother's brother's fishing rod, so more family value than $$.

Family heirlooms hold most of their value in the family when it comes to most rods and reels. And, as with any antiques, condition is everything. There just aren't very many rod collectors out there. A few reels, like Meeks, are pretty valuable, but most antique fishing tackle collectors are into lures.

Common as dirt. On a good day maybe somebody would give you $15. Clean it up-put it on the wall as a bit of family nostalgia. During decades of rod collecting I accumulated stuff like this by the (literally) barrel-full. Had one like you have when I was a kid and caught my first bass on one using a red and white Bass Oreno plug.

Now you know.
