Eastern SD deer can have a pretty big territory, especially the nice bucks. I would look for brushy draws through fields connecting one slough to another. Lots and lots of cattails for the deer to hide in after the corn comes out. There are a few walk in areas around brookings that would be worth scouting for archery set ups, as well as some public land opportunities if you cannot access any private land.
