How's everyone doing so far on duck opener?

Went out and got 5 this morning between me and 2 other people. 1 hen mallard, 3 blue wing teals, and merganser. Was cool getting the merganser, I have never got one of those before. Was a blast, saw a lot of ducks!

My opener was interesting. I fell on a sunken bog and messed up my back and flooded my waders. However, I recovered and shot a limit by 8am. It was some crazy morning. I did have a weird experience where the ducks were landing going with the wind and not into it. I actually shot all my ducks without any decoys. They really wanted into the hole. I also had two mallards land at my feet when the dog was on a retrieve. It was a good opener for me.

It was good for us. The first hour was great, then a slower but steady stream of birds until we left late morning.

Best opener ive ever had lots of ducks tht first morning and our group to didnt use decoys heck we barely called so it was a good weekend even came close to our limit of grouse

Decent..2 mallards and a woodie on saturday and 2 woodies and a mallard on sunday. Not a teal to been seen.

Myself and two sons got 25 ducks and 4 geese over the first three days of the season. very mixed bag too, We had BWT,mallrds,woodies,redheads,ringnecks,and a pintail

Party of 6 23 bluewing teal on Saturday and on Sunday 1 goose, 1 Ringie. 1 teal and 9 woodies. Liked the new shooting hours ! Hope it never changes to anything else.
