This is my first year duck hunting and I have a decison to make already opening morning, being a highschool football player our games our friday nights. We have film at 9 am saturdays. Is it worth it to get up and hunt a couple hours before film or would it be easier to wait and hunt midday until shooting hours close?? I don't really know how well ducks move throughout the day that's why I'm asking if it would it pay off to wait until after film or if I want to be successful do I NEEED to hunt the first couple hours of the morning? Just a question from someone with no experience. Thanks.

Did that all the time if there were good numbers of ducks around. Get up a hour before shooting time, short drive, be set up almost on the exact time shooting started, hunted for 45 minutes to an hour, pick up and rush home to clean ducks and get to school 2 minutes before you had to be to class. Was it worth all the work to only hunt for that short amount of time? You bet your sweet A$$ it was. You can't shoot ducks in bed.

I'm assuming you play football for Sauk Rapids by your profile name. I also played last year for Sauk Rapids and made many morning duck hunts before 9 A.M film. It is perfectly acceptable to show up to film in your camo. Some of my best hunts were after Friday night games.Good Luck tonight!

My daughter has swim practice Saturday morning, but she will be out hunting ducks for an hour or so,if a girl has that much ambition well a football player better have.

She also switched her class schedule so she could duck hunt before school during the week.

The only thing,in this day and age you should take your gun out of your vechile before you get to school.
