Dogs pick/husk corn!

My dogs have been going across the gravel road in front of the house, and stealing field corn. They husk the cobs in under 30 seconds (no joke), and eat the kernels in a matter of minutes. They typically will eat a few cobs a day.

Does anyone else have dogs as weird as mine? grin They steal squash, beans, peas, cantaloupe, and even green peppers from the garden as well. I never thought dogs cared much about vegetables until I got these two gomers!

My dad's black lab steals veggies from the garden too. Sunday afternoon I was in the yard shooting my bow and my 5 1/2 month old chocolate lab was being a nuisance so I picked a ear of corn from the field next to where I was shooting and he had fun with that then his puppy ADHD kicked in and went back to trying to chew on my target so I got him to figure out how to pick them himself to keep him occupied for a while then ADHD kicked in again and grabbed one of my brand new arrows and ran off with it.
