Strange, Different, Weird, Crazy???????????????

In my hurry to get out the door today I realized.

1. I am an hour ahead

2. I grabbed the wrong bag

3. I have my IPad

4. I am using my Ipad to search the internet

So I wake up and shuffel out the door and get up into my stand to realize its now almost 5am and that I grabbed the wrong pack. Ok no worries I got my bow arrows everythign I need for the hunt except for water and a snack. So I sit down and wait. Next thing I realize I am in my stand with a jacket over my head searching the internet. This wouldnt be a problem if I was in my wood box blind but I am sitting 20' in a small hang on stand. I thought to my self wow the number one reason for hunting, to escape the world as we know it and slow it down, has just taken a seat next to me in the portable. Wow. How crazy is this. I guess for now I will just go with it and if you listen you can probally hear me laughing really loud right now.

The old timers I hunt with use to bring a book or small radio with ear phones to kill the time. In this day and age I guess we text and surf the web. I really couldn't think of a better place to surf the web.

Yeah I was keeping track of my fantasy football game yesterday on stand with my phone. I play poker with it as well to pass the time.

Jay you have a condo though, I have a hang on plat form. lol Jay we put the 5x6 up that we are going to be using as the entry up for my big stand this year so things will be interesting come spring and start building the big one.
