Made two last week and hung a scent dripper over each. Each time I am out I use a decent sized branch and clean the scrap off. Tonight got out to my stand location early and made one more mock on a field edge, and another near my other two mocks but closer to the brush where the deer have been coming out of... Tonight a fork and a doe came out and hit my new mock scrap by the brush, and one of my others that I freshened this evening.

They didn't work the scrapes at all themselves, but they did check each out and were by no way alerted by the scrapes. Doesn't hurt to try em, I've had good luck, the key is to keep them clean and freshen them as often as possible. Active Scrape is good but I tend to use that closer to the pre-rut, Trails End #307 is a effective early/all season scent, and I believe there are a couple others. Buck nip possibly??
