BoxMN
I have a pair of Gnder waders, only a couple years old, and it seems like I am getting water in from somewhere. No rips or holes, or holes from barbed wire that I know of. I want to seal the seams, and thinking AquaSeal. My bro mentioned some tape that he found worked great (for the purpose, not sure of name, but I am concerned it might peel off), but I am not sure which. I used Goop once, and that was huge mistake. Is there anything better than aquaseal? I would like something made for the purpose of sealing seams on neoprene, if there is some such beast Thanks for any ideas! BTW - my old Cablas neos lasted a Looong time and only leaks were from barbed wire holes in the crotch from going over fences.... doh... mnviking28
Aquaseal is THE BEST-I actually used to work at the big "C" and we took an old pair of neos-cut them apart, and glued them back together using it. It was just like new. If anything will seal it, that will.
Gordie
Shoe goo is the only thing that I have ever used on my waders I have tried everything else under the sun and SG is what did it for me. Make sure you clean the seam first with rubbing alcohol the neo has to be clean and dry also.I had shoe goo on the rubber part of the boot for 10 years with out a leak and have used it on the seams on a pair of neos also. I took a cup of water after I layed out a bead of SG then dipped my finger in the water and ran it down the bead of the SG

JBar
I've used auto weather strip adhesive with good luck had the same pair of neo's for 7 years through waterfowl and trapping and have had their run. The weather strip hold's up well.

TylerS
For priding myself as a born-again "Boyscout," I can't believe I've never thought of bringing a wader repair product along hunting. Of all the garbage I drag along, it's never crossed my mind. Looks like I'll be adding a new must-have to my (long) list of hunting supplies! Thanks guys!
