Duck boat headlight?

Anybody ever mount a headlight on there duckboat? Any suggestions as far as brightness and or brand? And mounting?

I want to do this as getting thru the winding openings of cattails is tough with a flashlight only!

I was going to PM you a link but looks like you already posted in there (The Refuge). Lots of those guys have done this mod. i think they mostly use a brand called "blaster" or "nightblaster" or something.

I was also wondering about putting a "Ram" mount for the headlight rather than a largr bracket!

I have headlights on mine they the only way to go I also use a handheld spot

I used to use a set of KC highlighters from a trucks rollbar but this year went to LED Taco's they are a spot style light and they work great and conserve battery life..

Here is a pic of my old lights well it only shows one side there is two.. Iam going to convert these lights to a HID sysytem

They lit the way very well but drained the battery not as much during hunting but when I ran the river for fishing. I will try and post a pic later of the new lights for ya

I take the ones on the cat rig and put them on the duck boat. 100w 6" work pretty good. will post up a pic when I get the "NEW" rig back from the blind shop...
