RuddyDuck
I usually hunt water, the bigger sized lakes in my area. I Use about 12 to 20 floaters, set in two groups with a big opening in the middle. This seems to work for singles and small flocks. Good luck out there! Finlander
Every year is different and with the late crops as they are it's really limiting the places to hunt. And the usual wheat field we have is soybeans this year, so it's all up in the air!Hopefully some farmers will turn there wet crappy corn into sialage! carpshooterdeluxe
I'll be in MN for the opener...got a nice wheat field 400 yards from a pasture pond...should be a good time as always!
Quackaddict9
Fields will be combined in full force next week...there are some Oats and Wheat/Barley that have been swathed. Geese thick on the fields that are combined...it will change. A lot will change between now to September 3rd. I'll be in the same general area as always. Good luck and be safe.
